Watkins Glen and Schuyler County are out telling their vacationland story with 130,000 copies of their new 2012 travel guide, a 32-page publication jammed full of color and with a map insert.
Nikita Hairston, director of tourism and marketing, said the guide is distributed in areas up to five hours from Watkins Glen.
Hairston said the chamber staff “worked together to create the publication and was able to keep it local and in the hands of chamber members.
